I was born in Fort Worth Texas on June 20, 1986. I was premature weighing 4 lbs and 14 oz. I did not go home with my Mom or Dad, I instead went home with my Great Grandmother, Great Aunt, and Great Uncle, All the way to Missouri. I grew up living in the same house as my older brother but neither parent. My parents weren't married, but that was for the best.
my sister, my brother and me
I dropped out of high school after I failed to accumulate enough credits to graduate. I got my GED in 2006 and went to SouthEast Missouri State University. I left after a month because I had been ill, later I found out it was ulcerative colitis.I spent a lot of time at the "band house" for my brother's band. I got to be good friends with all the members. Through that I met Jeff, the brother of the bass player. We started dating on December 16, 2006 the day after our first conversation. We moved in together one week later.
We found out I was pregnant in July of 2007. The due date was March 20, 2008. We had a baby boy on October 20, 2007 he has almost 20 weeks along. His name was Gabryel, he weighed almost 3 ounces and was 5 inches long. He was born sleeping.

Our "wedding" day.
Aedan Luther was born via emergency c-section on March 5, 2009 at 6:30pm after 12 hours of labor. He was 10 pounds and 22 inches long. He was amazing, he was so big they had to find size 1 diapers instead of newborn and they struggled to find a hat that would fit his head.
Meeting my baby boy
In March 2009 we found out Jeff had stage 3 colon cancer. He went in for surgery on April 23, 2009 and I was essentially a single parent. Jeff had his large intestine removed. He had to be rushed back to the hospital on April 29 after he had a rupture and went septic. I almost lost him that day. I raised Aedan by myself for the second month of his life.
After Jeff's second surgery. He was sedated for 24 hours.
Today Jeff is at the hospital getting pre-surgery testing done because Thursday he is getting his *hopefully* last surgery. They will remove his ostomy bag and reattach his small intestine to his rectum. We are never going to live the normal life but that's okay with us, as long as we are together.
I will be home with Aedan for the nearly two weeks Jeff is in the hospital, so there may not be any updates here. I will try to keep everyone updated, but Facebook is the best place to check.
